NABC banding curriculum cover pageKlamath Bird Observatory and North American Banding Council (NABC), with support from U.S. Forest Service International Programs, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Environment Canada, have created the NABC Banding Curriculum (Passerines). The Curriculum is based on the NABC collection of training manuals, supplemental study materials, and original content.
This new banding training resource consists of Theory and Practical segments derived from the NABC Trainee Report Card. The Curriculum was designed for a variety of training situations including group sessions, individual instruction, and self-study. It includes a User Guide, Topic Outline, tutorials, quizzes, workshops, and a trove of study materials.
The entire Banding Curriculum (Passerines) is available for download - click here to download the Curriculum Packet. Please be aware that several of the files are large.
