Pedro Martins is an Brazilian ecologist with primary interest in statistics and bird population dynamics.
After completing his Master’s degree at the National Institute for Amazonian Research, Pedro joined the KBO’s International Capacity Building program in 2016, where he was certified as a bird banding trainer by the North American Bird Banding Council.
Between 2016 and 2017 Pedro also colaborate with KBO bird banding program as an OSU Visitor Researcher. He is a co-founder and director of the Mantiqueira Bird Observatory, a non-profit in Brazil to promote and undertake bird research and conservation at the Brazilian Atlantic Forest.
