Internships

Diana Velasco Banding Intern 2006 (72ppi 4x)Klamath Bird Observatory offers a variety of internships. Field-based interns work on various monitoring and research projects and gain skills in bird identification (by sight and sound), field biology and natural history, orienteering, survey methodology and data collection, and data entry. Select internship

positions focus on project management, organizational development, data management and analyses, and communications. KBO staff work with interns collaborate to create an academic learning experience during which Student Volunteer Interns work towards achieving specific learning goals while contributing to KBO’s science-based conservation efforts.
