Mantiqueira Bird Observatory

OAMa logoescrito (72ppi 4x)Observatório de Aves da Mantiqueira (OAMa—Mantiqueira Bird Observatory) was established in 2017 by former interns and visiting Research Scholars Luiza Figueira Rodrigues and Pedro Martins. OAMa is a non-profit organization whose goal is to advance scientific knowledge in Brazilian ornithology and promote habitat and bird conservation in the Brazil’s threatened Atlantic Forest. OAMa
will take the traditional bird observatory model a step forward by creating a hosting a virtual platform to facilitate connection and communication among researchers and students working on ongoing ornithological studies in the country. They also plan a professional training and regional monitoring programs.
 

The Klamath Bird Observatory is proud to be part of the Southern Oregon Regional Environmental Education Leaders (SOREEL).  SOREEL connects organizations and educators that focus on science and environmental education in Southern Oregon to coordinate, share resources, and collaborate around related educational efforts.
