Each year, Klamath Bird Observatory offers a Conservation Stamp Set for purchase with proceeds supporting both national and regional conservation efforts. The 2025-26 two-stamp set includes:
- The Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp (the Duck Stamp), and
- KBO’s Conservation Science Stamp.
The Federal Duck Stamp is among the most successful conservation tools ever created. Duck Stamp sales contribute directly to habitat conservation in our National Wildlife Refuges. KBO’s Conservation Science Stamp builds on this success by bringing additional support and attention to our science-driven conservation efforts.
The Conservation Science Stamp raises funds to support KBO’s mission – advancing bird and habitat conservation through science, education, and partnerships.

The Artist
Conservation Science Stamp
Bekah Zeimetz is a self-taught acrylic painter based in Eugene, Oregon. She gathers inspiration and reference photos from countless hours hiking and birding-watching in the Pacific Northwest region. Using vibrant color and thousands of small marks, she turns these experiences into beautiful paintings to remind the viewer that magic still exists.
